Join your fellow auto enthusiasts in Beaver Creek, Colorado this fall as we celebrate the engineering, design, quality, history and exclusivity of the German automobile at the second annual Beaver Creek German Auto Festival.
Beaver Creek’s intimate alpine village will be partnering with the German American Chamber of Commerce again to host the weekend’s activities.
On Friday, Sept. 18, scenic driving tours on iconic western Colorado roads will depart from Beaver Creek Village to locations around Colorado. Participants of the scenic drives will arrive at the destination and enjoy exclusive gourmet lunches, finishing with a loop route back to Beaver Creek.
Saturday’s events include the Wettbewerb der Eleganz (Concours d’ Elegance) car show and the Uber Auto Expo in Beaver Creek Village. The judged competitive car show will include three classes: Display Class, Street Class and Full Concour Class. Spectators will have the opportunity to participate by voting in the People’s Choice competition. The awards ceremony will take place following the competition, next to the Beaver Creek Ice Rink.
On Sunday, join us for the very first Beaver Creek Gymkhana. Similar to an autocross event, the gymkhana is a timed event which features obstacles such as cones, tires and barrels, and in this case, “Colorado” driving obstacles. Take part in the fun, friendly competition!
Spectator entrance is completely free! Food and beverages will be available for purchase, with complimentary Automotive Lectures located in Beaver Creek Village.
